Mr. Malenya Mutinyu holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Nairobi. He is a career human rights defender with over 15 years of experience in advocacy, policy review and formulation, governance, partnerships and networking, as well as engagements with human rights mechanisms. He exhibits strong skills in capacity enhancement on human rights, safeguarding, policy review and development, forced cross-border migration, and governance. Mutinyu has strong interests in supporting and holding state and state agencies accountable for human rights adherence.
